Trials, Tribulations and Fish “Tails”

A blog is born…. how did this one start you ask? Well lets just say there was a boy and a girl and a common interest.

We are fish parents and how we got that way is an incredible story packed with lots of research, facts, revelations, opinions, fish crimes, tears and joy!

This blog is about how to become a saltwater home aquarium owner to becoming a vested saltwater home aquarium lover. We will start from the beginning of our journey until our current situation. Be prepared for lots of information and crazy, funny interesting stories along the way, hence the title Tails instead of Tales!

We are newbies at this blogging game so please bare with us lol.

Let me first start by saying he does most of the research. I dabble here and there, like when one of our fish is acting out of character or when i feel the need for a new fishy member. My primary job is to feed them in the morning and call them pretty!! We name our fish also but i would say thats a family effort. The children do think we love our fish more then them….well its a toss up !! I mean the fish don’t talk back, destroy the home, eat everything in site (well out of the tank) and seriously cmon do your children relax you!! *sighs* Like I said a toss up.

Hi my name is Robyn and my fiance is Kraig. We are very busy, involved parents of 6. He is a welder and an army drill sergeant. I am a pharmacy technician. We are saltwater fish tank owners. We love our fish and have been through quite a journey with them. You could call us fish enthusiasts. We want to share this journey with you which is why we are starting this blog.

Ps…. thats the picture of the day he proposed……clearly I said YES!! Also that was only a week ago 🙂
